At no cost to your family.  Your information goes to one local advisor, never to a list.

How it works

One local guide, from the first call to the week after move-in

A Move for Mom pairs your family with a single placement professional who knows the communities near Mom, tours them with you, and stays with you until she's settled, at no cost to your family.

Find Mom's local advisor

Five steps, one person

  1. Tell us where Mom is

Enter Mom's ZIP code or call us. We introduce you to the one advisor who serves her part of South Florida, with their photo, background, and how to reach them.

You: a ZIP code and the best way to reach you. That's it.

  2. Have a real conversation

Your advisor gets to know Mom: her health and daily routine, what she enjoys, what worries you, the budget, and the timing. Expect questions a brochure never asks, like who her friends are and what a good day looks like for her.

You: about 30 to 45 minutes, by phone, video, or in person.

  3. Get a short list you can trust

Your advisor suggests a few communities they know firsthand and explains why each one fits Mom. Before any community makes the list, they check its Florida license. You'll also get honest context on pricing and on what's included.

You: review the list, ask anything, and cross off what doesn't feel right.

  4. Tour together

Your advisor schedules the visits and comes with you. If you live out of state, they walk the community with you on a live video call, asking your questions as you go and following up afterward.

You: show up, in person or on your phone.

  5. Decide, move, and settle in

Your advisor helps you compare notes, prepare questions about contracts and fees, and plan the move-in timeline. After Mom moves in, they check in to make sure she's settling in. (They can't give legal advice, but they'll tell you when to ask for it.)

You: make the choice. It's always yours.

In writing, before your first tour

Before you visit a single community, your advisor gives you a short written summary covering:

  • What they'll do for your family
  • How they're paid, and that your family pays nothing
  • Which communities they have agreements with
  • That you can ask about any licensed community in the area, not just those
  • That you can stop working with them at any time

Florida doesn't require this of placement services today. We do it anyway. Legal review before launch

What we never do

  • Sell your information or send it to a list of communities
  • Let a community contact you before you say so
  • Charge your family anything
  • Suggest a community without first checking its Florida license
  • Call before 8 a.m. or after 8 p.m., or keep calling after you ask us to stop
  • Pressure you to choose, or to choose quickly

Out of state? Tour by live video.

Your advisor walks the community with you on FaceTime or another video call. They open the closet doors, taste the lunch, ask the night-shift questions, and send you their notes afterward. Most families use video tours to narrow the list, then visit their top choice in person.

Common questions

Do we have to choose a community you suggest?

No. You can tour anywhere you like, and your advisor will gladly look at a community you found yourself. The decision is always your family's.

Can we stop working with the advisor?

Yes, at any time, for any reason, with no cost or penalty. Just tell your advisor or us.

Mom is being discharged from the hospital soon. Can you help quickly?

Yes. Tell your advisor the discharge date on your first call. They'll focus on communities that can assess Mom and have openings, and help you understand what each one needs before move-in.

I live out of state. Does this still work?

Yes, and it's one of the main reasons families call us. Your advisor can do live video tours with you, attend in person on your behalf, and help coordinate move day.
